We are very pleased to announce that we have finished transforming the playground at Good Shepherd School in London.
As you probably read in our recent projects blog in November, we had been asked to help remodel the whole look and feel of their then unused playground into an EPIC Quiet Garden. This came after the victory of the EPIC (Education and Play in Colour) playground we designed and installed for them the year previous.
The school, which is situated in Shepherd’s Bush in London has been well and truly taken into the present day from it’s once drab and dreary appearance to a spectacle of colour, cool imagery and fun!
This fantastic redesign came after a lot of deliberation on how we could enhance the space for the children, allowing them to relax, jump around, and use to fuel their imaginations. We used two different textures of artificial grass for this project to give some differentiation and to break up the areas of play. Brightly coloured insects such as yellow butterflies, bumblebees and vibrant red ladybirds have been incorporated into the pattern, along with the letters of the alphabet in the primary and secondary colours.
If you’re looking to revolutionise your old and ugly play space, then we are more than happy to visit you and help by designing an EPIC playground or even MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) to enjoy.
