STM Installation is Now On The FA 3G Football Turf Pitch Register

Back in the school holidays this year, we delivered a sensational 3G pitch at Abraham Guest Academy. Previously the pitch had needed a complete uplift and replacement and STM were the team to step in and create something truly amazing! The 6404 square metres of synthetic turf allowed the school to cater for the demand of football and touch rugby within their school. The new 3G pitch was part filled with rubber and sand to create a durable surface that will last. Don’t believe it? Take a look for yourself…

Abraham Guest Academy

At the start of this month the pitch was tested and sent off to The Football Association Limited (FA) this was in order to determine whether the 3g pitch meets the performance standards set out in the Football Turf Pitch (FTP). The pitch needs to fulfil a number of technical standards to ensure that it is fit for purpose and fully approved by this accredited body.

These involve:

• Grass pitch quality performance standards

• Technical standards

• Goalpost and pitch sizes

• Floodlighting

• Pitch markings

We are pleased to inform you that the Synthetic Turf Management 3G pitch installation passed with flying colours and now this means that Abraham Guest Academy’s results show that their Pitch is suitable for inclusion on The FA 3G Football Turf Pitch Register! Something that we are so proud to be a part of. This will initially last for three years.

This is yet another example of how STM can create something that is clearly high performing and recognised nationally as being a 3G pitch that delivers the correct standards.
