Sponsoring an Award Close to Our Hearts

15th March 2016

Today we are going to rewind back to the Youth Sport Trust Conference (YST) at the beginning of March. Since the conference we have built up relationships with a lot of different people within the industry and are proud of what we do. The YST Conference reminds everyone just how important getting involved in sports is and we strive to remind people every day that sports, whether it be football, hockey, golf, basketball, netball and so on… can all be fun, challenging, healthy but also build valuable skills (e.g. social) that help to develop every young person across the world!

As some of you will already know, Synthetic Turf Management sponsored the award for ‘Young Person of the Year- Empathy’ and were over the moon that Bosworth Academy Volunteer, Beth Kenney received the award. Beth has dedicated her time and effort in the community and in particular supporting residentials to gain valuable knowledge of sports. Beth has touched the lives of many different people including encouraging PE students to focus on their sports sessions. In addition she is part of the ELITE Leadership Academy organised by Leicestershire & Rutland Sport for the most talented sports leaders and we certainly agree that she has been fully committed to youth sports and is exemplary to people all over the UK. Everyone here at Synthetic Turf Management wish Beth the best of luck with all of her future endeavours and hope that she continues to support youth sports, which we are sure she will!

Presenting the Award to Beth Kenney

Jason Link, Regional Sales Manager presented the award to Beth Kenney

Synthetic Turf Management place a huge emphasis on sports throughout everything we do, this is because we see the benefits that young people have every day through the facilities that we install such as MUGA’s, sports surfaces and EPIC playgrounds. We also work with a variety of different affiliated bodies (such as the Youth Sport Trust) to ensure all of our products are the best they can be (which we are sure they are!)
