Schools may have been out for summer, but it’s a different story for STM. We’ve been hard at work, installing playgrounds and sports pitches in preparation for the mass return of pupils and teachers this week. Among the schools we have recently installed in are St Saviours CofE Primary School in Birmingham, and Nonsuch Primary, also in Birmingham (our 4th project for the school!). Let’s take a look at what we did…
St Saviours CofE Primary is an absolutely fantastic school; one that values a child’s well being and development above everything else. So it is imperative that they have the appropriate facilities to keep their pupils motivated, active and happy when it comes to PE. After chatting with them about their needs, we got to work designing a super cool MUGA (Multi Use Games Area), complete with bespoke goals, school logo and a bright red border to match the school’s colours.
St Saviours can now enjoy fun and productive PE lessons year round, whatever the weather. Plus, we used Marmax colourful benches to create friendly chill out areas for the kids, and transformed a previously unused walled area into a quiet area to sit on:
Yep, this was our FOURTH installation for the wonderful Nonsuch Primary School. This time, we were transforming a tired and unused playground into a vibrant, stimulating play space. The surface now includes a giant number square, a fun road trail and two colourful targets. See for yourselves!
If you’re interested in transforming your school with an EPIC (Education & Play In Colour) playground, a sports pitch, or even just some pretty garden surrounds, we’d love to hear from you.
