This leisure cetre was in need of an outdoor re-vamp and a little TLC, and a multi-use sports facility seemed to be just the feature it needed.

We designed an artificial grass pitch that facilitates both football and tennis. The synthetic turf surface is 540m2 in size, and made from exclusive STM multi sport turf. We also added the appropriate football pitch and tennis court markings.

Leisure centres are opting for artificial turf facilities more and more frequently, due to their practicality and low maintenance. Synthetic grass looks perfectly manicured year-round, and requires much less maintenance than a real lawn or sports pitch. Further, artificial turfs present a great opportunity for hire-outs and the multi-use turf is now used by local primary schools that don’t have their own all-weather pitches.
