Last September we completed a synthetic trim trail for this County Durham Primary School, well they were so pleased with their install that they invited us back again to complete another synthetic surface, this time in the form of a playground roadway.
This type of play area is often common among schools in Britain as it can be used at the centre of many lesson plans and not just for physical education. Roadways allow children to learn whilst also being energetic and can be catered around many different key stages for certain age groups.
This surface at the school was complete with a playground roadway, target, number line and hopscotch along with a variety of different coloured artificial turf.

Synthetic turf surfaces are rapidly becoming a more appropriate option for playgrounds due to their performance, durability, versatility and that they are incredibly safe.
Most areas can be transformed using artificial turf
