Synthetic Turf Management… The clue is in the name! We specialise in synthetic turf of course we do! But what a lot of you may not already know is that there are a few other things we specialise in too! Particularly playground equipment. Over the years we have been asked to create full scale playgrounds and many of these include sourcing, supplying and installing playground equipment as a centre point of the artificial turf. 

Playground equipment has so many benefits. They can;

• Optimise the use of space- Wondering what to do with that empty space that is not being used?
• Encourage physical activity- The use of playground equipment can help with strength, coordination and being active in general
• Encourage exploring the outdoors- Outdoor learning is a huge part of education and schools need to show that they have investigated this route
• PE Sessions- Playground equipment can be used as a focal point for physical education sessions and are another piece of apparatus that can be used to meet this educational need
• Shock Pads- Of course you may be worried about the safety of playground equipment but at STM we have that covered. We can assess any critical fall height and install shock pads underneath our high quality British manufactured synthetic turf to cushion falls.
