Newcastle United Player Attends 3G Pitch Open Day at Local Community Centre

On 15^th February the STM team revisited West Moor Community Centre, who we recently completed their 3G pitch for and what a fantastic day we had!

This week we were sent some lovely comments over and were even invited up to see everyone’s reaction to the football pitch.

The team were invited by the committee to watch as the children from the local football team, parents and the community could all get together and open the new football pitch, and there was even a surprise visit from a Newcastle player too!

Newcastle United First Team Defender Chancel Mbemba represented Newcastle United FC as he cut the ribbon and welcomed everyone onto the new pitch.

As children were playing small games of football on the new pitch, Mbemba signed autographs for everyone.

Everyone was over the moon with the surface and one parent even commented that they can now play in all weather conditions and they don’t have the inconvenience of matches being cancelled.

The committee were very pleased with their new pitch and were impressed with our installation.
