Now STM has been operating for a decade and to celebrate the run up to our 10 year birthday, we are looking back on MUGAs (or multi use games areas) and sports surfaces around the country that we are proud to have designed, supplied and installed over the years.
Happy 10th birthday to us!
The North East area is one of our most popular locations at STM. Especially Teesside/Redcar & Cleveland in addition to Newcastle, Sunderland and Northumberland. We love working up in the north and have completed hundreds of jobs up here.
Hartburn Primary School
Way back in 2011, we were in our home county of Teesside. Here we worked to create a 650 square metre MUGA for a primary school to encourage safe play and activity for all pupils.
Revoe Learning Academy is in Blackpool; the town of seaside, illuminations and British holidays! Another thing that is illuminated is this outdoor sheltered sports surface which was complete just last year. Not only can this be used for sports, but also other activities too. And word has it, that pupils have been camping out here on an evening for a school event.

The Midlands is another of our top locations. Particularly Kidderminster, Worcestershire and Birmingham, close to one of our top UK manufacturers TigerTurf.
In 2017, our good clients over at Solihull Football Centre needed a 3G pitch revamp for their walking football teams. So STM set out to complete the multipurpose surface which was complete in October of that year.
Just outside of London City Airport is Rosetta Primary School. This large scale project involved many different types of synthetic grass areas including landscaping around trees, sports pitches, playground markings and running lanes. This is a great example to show just how versatile artificial turf is. Definitely a multi use games area!
