Primary EPIC Playground Revisited Sep 2016

7th September 2016

Cast your mind back to earlier this year, February in fact, where we installed an EPIC playground for this thriving school and posted it in our blog. Well seven months down the line we have revisited this school this week and were very pleased that the surface still looked brand new!

This Middlesbrough primary school have an area at the front of the school now with a brand new EPIC playground. This facility is full of Education and Play in Colour (EPIC). Not only are there colourful butterflies and play equipment which encourage physical activity, but there are also educational features such as a number line. This helps to transfer learning to the outdoors and is one of the main reasons why EPIC playgrounds are one of the most popular additions to any school.

Without further ado, let’s see what this Primary Schools EPIC playground looked like 7 months on…

The surface is well kept and still looks fantastic!

You wouldn’t be able to tell that the play equipment is well used.

Still full of colour and will be for a long time!

red dragonfly design on synthetic turf

The Primary chose a completely bespoke playground that catered to the size of that specific area. They choose this red dragonfly design as part of their EPIC playground.

We think that the school grounds still look incredible and are very happy that the surface is well kept! Don’t forget that even though an EPIC playground is much lower maintenance than natural grass, picking up litter and fallen debris is an absolute must if you own a synthetic surface to ensure that contaminants don’t build up, penetrate through the surface and cause drainage issues. For more information on this please browse to our artificial turf maintenance section.

Think that an EPIC playground is for your school?
