Why Shock Pads?

Shock pads have also become popular in other areas such as landscape. Properties with poor access have always made artificial turf installations harder due to the amount of hard landscaping material that needs to be taken through the house. This is minimised when shock pads are used as the installation process is quicker as an aggregate no longer needs to be laid and compacted which is a time consuming and potentially messy process if the house doesn’t have side access.

The extremely flat finish is also a popular characteristic of shock pads as it leaves a perfectly smooth surface which if nice underfoot. Shock pads are springy for their safety properties but they are also firm underfoot creating the perfect feel for a landscape job or a play surface.
