Playground Surfacing with Artificial Turf

There are so many different designs that we can create with artificial turf, but why do we work with this product, in particular. Well artificial turf is an alternative to traditional concrete, natural grass or even wet pour rubber. We believe it is a much softer product that is easy to maintain but also retains its look over time. Plus, educational markings can be included so that children learn through play.

Dover School Playground Design

We wanted some images of a school that has had so many different designs, you will be spoilt for choice! This Dover school had a variety of different turf markings and colours which we think cater to so many different age groups and is a perfect surface for sports days and Physical education.  The surface is part of our EPIC range. Hopscotches are still one of the most popular designs when it comes to playground surfacing- all children love playing on them and are pretty eye-catching as well!

How are the Designs put into the surface?

Our artificial turf designs (e.g. the Mr Wolf game, targets, hopscotches, ladybirds etc…) are all pre made at our warehouse. When on site, the installation team will then cut these designs into the new surface and this is sealed with a special glue and tape. The grass types stand at the same height and our installers pride themselves on create a very safe surface (which means trip free edging).

In addition, a playground target and number line added something a little extra.
