Egremont Primary School Sports Surface

Our recent sports surface which we supplied and installed at Bookwell Primary School is finished and looking phenomenal! Ever wondered what you can do with an old natural grass patchy surface which gets unused and a wastage of space? Before we get into the Bookwell Primary project, we just wanted to start with an official Ofsted quote

Here at STM we believe that making the outdoor facilities of the school look attractive can engage pupils. After all a sports surface doesn’t have to be just a sports surface. The safety of the surface is a priority of ours and it means you could take the pupils out on a sunny day for drawing as a part of art lessons, or exploring nature as part of science classes. There are so many possibilities!

This ensures that we can provide the best base works which deliver sufficient drainage and a smooth playing surface. Safety is always a priority here at STM.

After the base works are prepared its time to lay the artificial grass carpet. This should always be completed with great precision to ensure the trip free edging.

Now Bookwell Primary have somewhere they can play a variety of sports on all year round!

And the Headteacher was certainly pleased too!
