When Team Paragon approached STM to create synthetic grass gym flooring for their Darlington gym, we jumped at the chance! Promoting fitness is something we stand by at STM which is why we place a heavy emphasis on our corporate gym division and have completed for hundreds of gyms nationwide. The reason being, we pride ourselves on the quality of artificial turf we use which is long lasting, available in a number of colours and designs, on top of being versatile enough to withstand the frequency and usability of gym members regardless of the activity.

Designing and Creating the Synthetic Grass Gym Flooring

A red theme was adapted to coincide with the Team Paragon brand. Many designs were considered and the STM team are always happy to listen to your needs, play about with different options and create a product that is perfect for our client. It was decided that the design would be 22.5 square metres and centre the Paragon brand in the centre. Simple, purposeful and built to last.

Our gym mats are produced in our warehouse. This is because the markings are actually cut into the turf strip and need to be glued and dried before being fit. This makes it much easier for the clients during the installation process. There are two options that we offer at STM:

• We design the gym flooring and then can arrange to have it transported to site
• We design and then fit the flooring ourselves

Team Paragon’s design included the cutting out of the ‘PARAGON’ lettering and then glued into the red surface. The finish is always at the highest quality standard to avoid any health and safety issues that could arise.Paragon synthetic grass gym flooring in STM warehouse

Team Paragon sent us images of the new track fully installed and we were over the moon to see the centre piece of the gym looking fantastic!Paragon gym mat installed in the centre of the gym.Not only does synthetic grass gym flooring look good, but it is very practical for any gym with regards to sleds, prowlers, CrossFit and general strength and conditioning activity.
