Just this week we were at Galley Hill Primary school in Guisborough, North Yorkshire, completing a brand new EPIC playground for their school grounds. Before we get into the project let’s just tell you a few keywords that come to mind when we think of this project…. Dragons, snails, targets a sea of green and well… EPIC-NESS!

Synthetic turf is a great way to optimise the use of space and tidy up the area in a cost effective way. Synthetic grass for our EPIC playgrounds can last up to 20 years! So very cost effective. Pupils and muddy natural grass is not the best mix and we are sure that you know how they can quite easily bring the outdoors indoors (a messy combination!).

We were on the scene at Galley Hill at the beginning of this month to transform a 104.4m² area with our green artificial turf from our British manufacturers, which comes with 8 years’ product warranty! It’s non-abrasive, available in a variety of colours and can be coupled with shock pads. This was clearly the perfect product for this school installation.

The designs are cut into the synthetic grass surface and glued down with a special adhesive to create a trip free edging that is super safe for all pupils

We complete the whole of our projects from start to finish; from base works to final grooming and finishing. This also includes plastic edging (rather than timber which can rot over time) and the supply and installation of a specialist sand infill.
