Are you a player who is sick of getting your game called off due to the rain? Perhaps you are a leisure facility losing out on revenue due to flooding on the surface? Maybe a teacher worried the weather is going to intervene with your carefully thought out lesson plan? Synthetic turf installation could eliminate all your problems.
We are at that time of year where we see more heavy downpours of rain than sunshine. Where we rarely see a patch of dry ground. Pitches spend more time drowned in the mucky water when they should be thriving. Disappointed players, supporters, trainers, pupils and teachers spend their time trying to avoid such mishaps. Let us point you in the right direction of synthetic turf installation.
Natural grass is not practical in all weather conditions. It frequently postpones matchdays.
Synthetic turf or “astroturf” and its popularity has soared over the last few years. One of the main reasons is due to its maintenance properties. Unlike natural grass, synthetic turf is very easy to look after. First things first, it doesn’t grow which means you don’t have to spend hours on end mowing or seeding. Synthetic turf is permanent and that means permanent pitch markings that are installed as part of the surface so they are just as much a part of the surface as everything else!
Then there’s what we really want to know about, drainage. With fully perforated backing water effortlessly glides through the product so there is no build-up of water on the surface. This creates the ‘all-weather’ definition, which means that it can be played always throughout the year regardless of the occasional downpour!
