Astroturf Maintenance at Northfield’s School MUGA 2 Years After Install

17th August 2017

What is the secret to a great looking astroturf surface all year round? Ensuring it is well kept of course!

Astroturf maintenance should be a priority after any surface has been installed. This doesn’t all need to be outsourced, there’s lots that can be done in-house too. Picking up debris including litter and leaves can really help to discourage contaminants from causing drainage problems and this will help to ensure your surface looks as good as new for many years to come!

However, after a while, good quality outsourced maintenance is indeed a necessity, especially for something as large scale as our Northfields job in Billingham, Teesside.

The Ferrari is also used as a tool to help spread infill whether that be 3G rubber granules or sand
